Today I had planned to analyze Donald Trump’s peace plan — which in fact represents an extension of Vladimir Putin’s official proposal from December 2021, two months before the outbreak of the war — in detail. That proposal, sent by letter to Joe Biden and to NATO’s leadership, laid out the Kremlin’s explicit conditions: that Ukraine must not join NATO; that it must not be equipped with offensive, large-caliber weapons; and that NATO should withdraw troops and military hardware from Eastern European, post-communist countries.
However, yesterday’s speech by Volodymyr Zelensky, a direct and unmistakable capitulation, made me postpone that analysis and instead take a snapshot of the current moment, to show how we got here, precisely through the actions of yesterday’s capitulator: an irresponsible president who has almost destroyed his country.
Zelensky, a Ukrainian of Ashkenazi Jewish origin, was elected president six and a half years ago through a mass manipulation campaign organized and financed inside Ukraine by oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky, who is now himself being pursued for major financial fraud committed during the war. Once in power, geopolitically disoriented and incompetent, Zelensky quickly sought Trump’s protection, who was at the time in his first term. Trump, in exchange, asked him to provide evidence of the corruption involving his rival Joe Biden and his family, evidence Trump needed for the 2020 U.S. presidential race — a deal Zelensky publicly agreed to.
But Zelensky kept stringing Trump along, never delivering the promised information. In the end, he deceived him — and Trump lost the election. Biden came to power, and the Ukrainians now held the incriminating data about his family’s corruption. From 2021 onward, the Americans began pressing hard toward a future war with Russia through their proxy, Ukraine — a process they had been preparing since 2014, pumping the neighboring country with money and weapons, and even officially embracing the use of the notorious neo-Nazi Azov battalions.
Zelensky played along with the Americans, while his associates had already begun stealing from both the military supplies and the funds meant for the war. The actor thus became a mere puppet caught in the American–British vise — and so the war began, after Biden rejected Putin’s peace proposals, which are now, four years later, being revived through Trump’s plan.
Immediately after the war began, realizing that Ukraine would be destroyed, Zelensky tried — through Erdoğan’s mediation — to accept Putin’s peace plan. But Western High Finance blocked him immediately by sending British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Kyiv to nullify any such attempt at peace. From there, everything deteriorated. The Americans later realized that their information about Russia’s military capacity was totally wrong, that the Collective West had fallen far behind militarily, and, fatally, they also provoked China, which then firmly aligned itself with Russia, thwarting the Western plan to economically isolate Moscow. That, dear friends, is how history was written.
You already know the nightmare of the past three years — years that have brought Europe to its knees and exposed the United States in all its weakness: an empire in decline, now forced to carry out the economic and military demands of the Russo-Chinese geopolitical clamp.
The Putin–Trump Agreements were finalized this spring, immediately after Trump returned to the White House. Since then, the two — Putin and Trump — have been working to implement their peace plan, based precisely on Putin’s 2021 demands. Europe’s leaders, puppets of the architects of the Ukrainian war — that is, of Western High Finance, alias the Rothschild family — resisted as much as they could. They placed upon the EU the burden of continuing and financing the war, forcing the actor-president Zelensky to keep playing their tune.
And so, over the past six months, things have dragged on — but meanwhile, Kash Patel’s FBI, clearly aided by information and evidence of Zelensky’s corruption (including data supplied by the Russians), has been documenting the massive theft carried out by Zelensky’s circle under his coordination. These thefts were traced mainly to U.S. Treasury funds earmarked for military aid, as well as to diverted weapons shipments. Using that corruption file as leverage to blackmail Zelensky, Trump and Putin concluded that only through such pressure could they stop the war — and for now, it appears they were right.
In recent days, after evidence of his corruption and that of his regime went global — especially following the bombshell released by The Financial Times — Zelensky has been running around Europe in desperation, from Macron to Erdoğan, seeking protection and financing. But everything collapsed for him the day before yesterday, after Trump published the peace plan that must be implemented if Zelensky doesn’t want to fall entirely into Putin’s hands — with a deadline for decision set for next Thursday.
Of course, only by complying with the terms imposed for Ukraine will Zelensky gain any hypothetical clemency regarding his corruption cases. And so, the reckless “war actor” has become, as of yesterday, a bent, broken capitulator — the public caricature of a pitiful man doing his business on a golden toilet. What better image of degradation could one find?
Cristian Pantazi of G4Media also noted the symbolic timing of Trump’s peace plan release — precisely before November 21, the Day of Dignity and Freedom in Ukraine, which commemorates the start of two major uprisings: the Orange Revolution of 2004 and the Revolution of Dignity of 2013. These dates have now become ominous symbols of the neighboring country’s downfall. Pantazi adds:
“Trump didn’t just draft the plan alongside Putin’s people; he also began blackmailing Ukraine with a total suspension of military and intelligence support unless Zelensky signs by next Thursday — Thanksgiving Day. What irony! Instead of the traditional turkey, another trophy will sit on the golden table of the White House.”
I’ll add to that — yes, it will be a small trophy, a figurine of the actor himself sitting on his golden toilet — now the symbol of Ukrainian corruption and of the decline of the Collective West, which will stand by helplessly as the Putin–Trump agreements are implemented, negotiated and enforced through the geopolitical power triangle of Russia–U.S.–China. That’s how history is written. We are now at a full stop — the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. But everything has a cost. And once again, it won’t be the guilty who pay — it will be the usual fools. And we Romanians, unfortunately, remain among them.
