The West has created a God out of Putin. In the collective European West, but also in Romania, Propaganda with a capital “P” has created, through excessive and manipulative media coverage, a state of mind where, to joke a little, whenever you open a can or a jar you expect a Russian to jump straight into your plate and aim a Kalashnikov at you. Anything that goes wrong, we are told, is because of the Russians, any slightly sophisticated geopolitical strategy must, of course, have Putin behind it, and if the Kremlin’s tsar is busy with other things, then we’re told for sure that Sergei Lavrov, their foreign minister, must have acted. Only well-informed people still manage to discern the truth of international events. Usually, these people just smile at this anti-Russian propaganda wave. But it is clear that the majority of citizens truly believe that Russia is now behind all the significant events in world politics.

During the plandemic, five years ago, fear of COVID was used to impose any abusive measures. Citizens were divided into two categories. We, those who didn’t get vaccinated and who challenged this nonsense with arguments, were suddenly stripped of our normal rights as citizens and labeled as idiots who needed to be sent urgently to re-education. I remember, for example, in the spring of 2021 one evening I suddenly found myself judged on two television stations controlled by the Romanian deep state, where the guests in the studios, talking about me, were literally saying that I was stupid, and that my diplomas and education were fake and worthless. There were two or three “smart guys” there who even claimed I had forged all my degrees. What could I do? I was alone at home, I opened a bottle of good wine and laughed. There was really nothing else I could do, nor did I want to. Well, during this plandemic, with such episodes as the one I’ve just recalled, the tricksters like Ursula von der Leyen—who were the proxies, the enforcers of the multinational corporations in Big Pharma, others who handled the contracts for supplies, masks, isolation units, if you remember—all of them made a fortune, they got rich, off the back of the propaganda that they poured over the heads of citizens worldwide. We saw our share in Romania, where the king was, is, and will continue to be Raed Arafat, who has all the “qualities,” in quotes, to serve this role in a progressive-transhumanist type of regime.

I return now to the Russians and this anti-Russian psychosis being created. The examples of Romania and Moldova are clear to you. Here, any move against the official manipulations quickly gets you labeled as a Russophile or a Putinist. No matter what you do, that’s the label, and you can’t escape it. And suddenly, just like during the plandemic, you become a second-class citizen if you dare to appreciate in any way certain Russian strategies, or, as in my case, if you publicly propose and take responsibility for the idea of a partnership between Romania and Russia to avoid war on Romanian territory. I believe that’s what any responsible person should do. In Romania, we’re told elections were rigged because the Russians interfered, people are being arrested en masse because they’re allegedly linked to the Russians. And in Moldova it’s even worse—over the last few months, from morning to night, all anyone breathes is the so-called Russian danger. To the point that pro-Russians in the Republic of Moldova have now become the overwhelming majority in terms of voting preference for Sunday. Proof that this strategy has been a complete failure in Moldova.

Meanwhile, the Collective West—left now without the U.S., especially after the obvious Russia–America rapprochement seen at the Trump–Putin meeting in Alaska—has managed to achieve something the Russians never even dreamed of: it has created a new God, in the image and likeness of Putin. Everything bad or good that happens in the West, depending on who you ask, is because of, or thanks to, Putin. That is what the Collective West has accomplished, even though probably—and I’m not sure in all cases—they had intended something entirely different, even the opposite.

In the end, I could even think that the Russians are so influential that they got us all into this psychosis, you and me together, by creating such a project that would put them in this posture of European preponderance. Because that’s exactly what we’re facing now: Russia’s preponderance in Europe, everyone trembling. If Putin were to gather them at his Kremlin office, they would sit there on their knees—not just lined up on chairs, like they sat in front of Trump. That’s my guess about all the so-called tough guys from the White House I saw in those pictures.

And I return to money. This propaganda, this anti-Russian hysteria, has allowed the tricksters of the military-industrial complex—with Ursula von der Leyen again as the vector—to receive, and to continue receiving, not tens but hundreds of billions of euros, taken from the taxes of citizens frightened by the so-called great Russian danger. That’s what the propaganda of the Russian peril has achieved: to make the Russians look big, to divinize Putin, maybe even to sanctify him. It’s not too late: if Trump gets the Nobel Peace Prize, Putin should be sanctified. And of course, through programs like SAFE, the military-industrial complex will pocket hundreds of billions of euros, from our taxes—mine and yours alike.
