Tucker Carlson’s interview caused shivers in the Western world (I mean the political world) but it did not go down well for some high-status private persons either, I am referring here to Marius Vizer, the president of the International Judo Federation, the only Romanian who does not appear in the list of the country’s richest people, such as Capital or Forbes, and this is because they pay not to appear.
In the last 18 years, Vizer made a strong name for himself in the mass media and among his acolytes with the fact that he has a persistent and sensational friendship with one of the most powerful people in the world, Vladimir Putin, the Russian autocrat.
As long as he wanted to use this friendship, Vizer climbed to the highest heights of reputation in the world of sports, and armed himself with tens of millions of euros.
But Vizer is the kind of character who is there only “in heath”, not “in sickness”, when things get difficult, he runs away immediately, betraying his friends.
Of course, this article will give him gastric irritation again, he will surely threaten to break my legs again, as in the interloper underworld, but I feel stripped of the burden of honor, because friendship that has only one meaning is anything else, but not friendship (I notified the Romanian authorities, those who matter, about the threats of the IJF president).
On February 27, 2022, Vizer chose to be dishonorable when he decided to suspend President Putin from his honorary position at the IJF, in the context of the conflict in Ukraine. You will say, well, that was normal, that’s what banks and governments, NGOs and celebrities did.
Nope. It’s not. In this case it is not like that. Let’s get over the fact that Putin strongly supported Vizer to get the position at IJF and keep it, that Putin redirected financial resources for the development of judo by putting money into the International Judo Federation. However, we cannot overlook Vizer’s style, who, on other occasions, bigged himself up, but only for PR, getting involved in delicate political issues, see Kosovo, see the disputes between Arabs and Jews in the world of sports.
No, here Vizer played slyly and politically, deliberately renouncing Putin, his supreme benefactor. Vizer had a ton of arguments to put on the table for not suspending Putin, for example, the argument he used in the case of supporting a Kosovar champion or the argument he shoved under the noses of the Arabs when he sided with the Israelis: what’s the connection between sports and politics? Judo is a sport separated from politics, Vizer could say AGAIN.
Except that he is no longer separated from politics, Vizer has politicized everything in order to survive.
In 2022, Vizer did something about the decades of friendship and support from Putin, and, fearing that the Americans would “punish” him, he preferred to keep his skin intact and distance himself from the Russian president.
However, there is a high-profile revelation coming, which you will not see in the Romanian sports newspapers (he even bought Tolontan a few years ago, after threatening him), nor in the international media.
IRAN WANTED HIS HEAD. RIGHTLY. WHO SAVED HIM FROM THE ATTACK?
At the end of August 2019, Marius Vizer effectively stole the Iranian athlete Saied Mollaei (27 years old), the best judoka in the world in the 81 kilogram category and favorite for Olympic gold in Tokyo in 2020, he left Japan after ending his participation in the World Championships!
Of course with the sportsman’s consent, but abruptly and impermissibly intervening in the politics of a state, namely Iran, Marius Vizer ordered his bodyguards to take Mollaei and secretly take him to the airport, where he was put on a plane destined for Germany, asking for political asylum!
Iran went mad. Mollaei was the Iranians’ “Simona Halep”, I mean the love of the people and had the reputation of the most prestigious athlete of the country! Sure, in the Western media, Vizer was presented as a kind of Batman savior, but the truth is that his interventions were totally incongruous with the status of neutrality that he was obliged to maintain as president of the IJF!
It’s hard with the Iranians! They quickly put him on the black list of people who must be killed and gave the green light for an attack on Vizer as revenge!
Vizer was in a hurry, desperately worried of getting punished! And he turned again to his friend Vladimir Putin who, in an UNPRECEDENTED gesture to his position as the leader of one of the most powerful countries in the world, again agreed to save his ass and “invented” a private visit to the Budapest headquarters of the International Judo Federation.
President Putin came to the IJF headquarters, stayed for half an hour and took some pictures with Vizer, offering him the shield he needed and sending a decisive signal to the Iranians that Vizer is under his protection.
What a gesture Putin made for Vizer! And how embarrassing it seems now to reject the “novel” from the friend who saved his life!
In 2019, Putin was good for Vizer, saving his ears from an Iranian bomb, in 2022, he was “disposable”!
On the day of President Putin’s suspension from the IJF honorary position by Vizer, the Russian Serghei Soloveychik resigned from the position of president of EJU, the European Judo Federation, as a sign of honor, but also as a sign of protest for Putin’s suspension.
At Putin’s command, Soloveychik had stuffed the IJF accounts with tons of money, from Gazprom to everything that meant economic entities or countries that depended on the Russian world.
At the behest of Vizer, the Hungarian Laszlo Toth was appointed to head the EJU, precisely so that the Romanian would get along well with Viktor Orban, the prime minister of Hungary.
Vizer the pervert, however, asked Toth to “destroy” Soloveychic and invent a criminal case against him, citing unjustified expenses for two plane tickets! Hahaha, how embarrassing, for the man who had brought money for judo from Russia, to have to steal the money from two plane tickets!!!???
Learning of the “story”, Orban summoned Vizer urgently and eavesdropped on him for the entire phase, telling him that he would not accept that due to his pressure on Toth, Hungary would damage its relations with Russia. Today, just so you know, Vizer’s relations with Orban are no longer “those” of 5 years ago, they are ice-cold.
Putin demonstrated once again that he does not lick where he spat and rewarded Soloveychik’s honorable gesture, putting him at the head of the Russian Judo Federation, removing from the scheme the billionaire Vasily Anisimov whom he sent to deal “with personal problems”.
It is said that Soloveychik will be the next president of the IJF and that, even if he is not, Vizer will not stay for another term either. Russia will take care of this, motivating its allies to take him down.
TRAITOR OF ROMANIA, TRAILBLAZER OF POLITICAL OPTIONS
In the national press, the articles praising him always mention the phrase “the Romanian that has the highest position in world sports”.
Vizer also claims in interviews that his “heart” beats for Romania. It’s just that he is no longer a Romanian citizen, but an Austrian one, precisely to save his skin from criminal cases in the country, because Austria did not have an extradition agreement with Romania at that time.
“Lack of impartiality of Romanian justice” was a corruption case in 2004 in which Vizer was being investigated for allegedly demanding money from a person in exchange for economic services. The investigators from the National Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office discovered that the head of Bihor Finance, Ioan Lascau, did not work alone to ensure for the businessman Mircea Nistreanu, the preferential settlement of some works carried out by his company, worth 185 billion RON, through influence peddling. Against the amount of 18 billion RON, together with Ioan Lascau, Marius Vizer would have trafficked his influence with officials from two ministries to determine the “reasonable” and “for a fee” solution to the demands of the businessman Mircea Nistreanu.
At that time, Vizer was recorded at the border, for two years Vizer always dreamed at night of Virgil Ardelean, the former head of the secret service of the Romanian Internal Affairs Ministry. Ioan Lascau, Vizer’s friend, is the only one who suffered months of detention. Vizer didn’t…
In a memorably paid interview with Tolontan, Vizer showed himself many years ago as a great supporter of the monarchy and of “senior Coposu”. As long as it worked out in his favour.
Then, without any nausea, he went from monarchy to communism, whose human face was represented by Ion Iliescu, his new senior.
Over time, Vizer searched feverishly and managed to get close to Basescu and even Dragnea. Two people ignored Vizer: Nastase, who knew who he was dealing with, and Iohannis.
FRIENDSHIP, A “VALUE” FOR VIZER, BUT ONLY IF IT’S WORTH IT. THE GUSA CASE
The betrayal of his friendship with Cozmin Gusa is emblematic of Vizer’s cynical character.
Having a long friendship with Gusa, Vizer was the one who supported him with all his strength to become the president of the Romanian Judo Federation.
When his friendship with Gusa was no longer profitable and other friends suggested to him that Gusa is also “past tense”, that the future with Florian Coldea is brighter, Vizer pounced on Gusa with all his might, but in vain: he did not manage to tear him down from FRJ, nor to break his legs (as he tried in this case as well).
The saddest thing is that the “Romanian” Vizer did everything he could to destroy “judoist” Romania, hindering Romanian judoka everywhere he could, a gesture that shows a lack of dignity.
Blinded by hatred, Vizer wants to allocate “as many millions of euros as necessary” to defeat Gusa in the upcoming elections, his “rational” filter being only HATE.
THE BETRAYAL OF MARIUS BY VIZER
In April 2015, Vizer shocked the international world by giving a super tough speech addressing the corruption and lack of transparency in the International Olympic Committee (IOC) with reference to the powerful Thomas Bach:
“… we don’t need a system that defends itself, we don’t need sports cardinals, nor popes, we need honest leaders, who will be models and examples for us”, said Marius Vizer, who condemned that time the in office geriatrification of the white collars in the IOC, of those who “invest hundreds of millions of dollars in Opening and Closing ceremonies, while millions of athletes live in hunger and they don’t stand a chance in sport due to the lack of proper conditions”.

We are in 2024 and Mr. Vizer has been at the head of the IJF for 17 years, he himself has become a pope, ossified on the throne of world judo from which he no longer feels like getting off.
Two years after the rebellious speech, Mr. Vizer was enjoying himself next to Thomas Bach, the head of the IOC, unveiling a statue together in Budapest. What undignified submission! Even today Vizer did not receive what is due to the International Judo Federation – the position of IOC member!
When God wants to lose someone, he first takes his mind”, said Euripides. When you accept, being alive and forgetting modesty, to legitimize things like a street being named after you, God has already taken your heart.
