Gold FM friends, in addition to the important details of the Ukrainian and Israeli conflicts, which I present to you daily, details that can only show us the picture of the moment, today I will try to summarize very briefly what the geopolitical perspective could be following the current decisions and events that, as I said, we comment and analyze every day. From the beginning I tell you the conclusion, namely that it is clear that we are discussing a new cold war installed between the so-called NATO world and the so-called BRICS+ world, simply described, a cold war pigmented with smaller military conflicts, such as those in Africa, or with larger ones , with explosive potential, such as those in Ukraine or Israel, in the future and the possible one in Taiwan. The major belligerent states in the new cold war are grouped into blocs of military alliances, such as NATO, or geo-economic ones, such as BRICS+. These blocs are quite compact, for now, with little possibility of defection, like Turkey or Argentina, which can change camps depending on current events, Turkey based on Israel’s fight against the Muslim world, Argentina based on the outcome of the presidential elections in three weeks.
Therefore, the issue of ideology and of advantages by which the two blocs will be attractive for their members, respectively for attracting other new members, will be acutely raised, and in this chapter the fight will be fierce and will test the strategies of the great powers involved, in mainly those from the United States of America, Russia, China, India, but secondarily also those from Brazil, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Japan, even Israel; but less so from the EU states, which have lost their potential for geopolitical vectorization, remaining at the US’s beck and call.
It is clear that the basic ingredients will be the military potentials, on the same level as the geo-economic ones. Very important, however, will also be the political ideologies proposed to the public, the philosophical, moral or religious benchmarks, based on which actions will be taken to rebuild the future of nations. Understand from here the importance of communicators such as presidents of states, their credibility and intellectual scope, therefore also the decisive role of the media potential with planetary emission of these states. Based on these criteria we can weigh today and deduce both the future positioning of the belligerent blocs in the newly established cold war, but also which of them will be dominant in the short and medium term.
Today I note another significant detail, episode that I will develop in the future. In the Cold War after World War II, America championed, held and promoted the values of democracy: meritocracy, peace, prosperity and faith in God, the USSR being symbolized by opposite attributes. Today, the USA is the exact opposite of what it used to be: democracy is no longer present or promoted, meritocracy is a joke, the best example being Biden himself, prosperity is at an end, the lack of peace being obvious through the Ukraine and Israel conflicts, and unfortunately even without God, the USA being the promoters of satanic and LGBT movements, which exclude themselves from the Christian current. Russia, on the other hand, as a successor of the USSR, scores in almost all these chapters, less so in that of democracy, but it is clear that they will want to get a large part of the vectorizing role that the USA has lost. For this reason I predict that there will be a reversal of roles between the two states compared to the first Cold War in this newly installed cold war, which we will comment and analyze daily on Gold FM.
