(Transcript of the spoken editorial from the show Ce-i în Gușă, și-n căpușă with Cozmin Gușă on Gold FM)
Inpolitics, the site belonging to Bogdan Tiberiu Iacob, published Donald Trump’s full UN speech this morning, a long speech that should have floored the world. He said some things but didn’t present any projects that could be used on a global level, he didn’t propose any reform project for the United Nations as we might have expected, it was rather a mix of self-laudation and populism. That was expected, you should never have too high expectations from Donald Trump, but you can expect spectacular moments, and indeed his anti-Russia message sounded spectacular, as did his message against the European Union’s policies, and his message against Muslims. Very interestingly, he tried to cut around passages so as not to offend too much, but it is clear that his direction in this speech was pro-Israel, while also throwing smiles toward Britain and Brazil at the very least.
Eugen Mihăescu produced a good analysis for Cotidianul, from which I’ll quote a few valuable fragments: “At the beginning, the audience was amused by the speaker’s jokes, but soon the atmosphere grew electric and sparks started to fly. Donald Trump reviewed the achievements of his mandate. He first discussed economics, then eventually reached topics such as immigration control, for which he directly blamed the corruption in the UN, and his efforts to stop armed conflicts around the world. Trump recounted that he offered to renovate the famous East River building with $500 million and top-quality materials—marble, gold, leather—but the UN refused, spent billions instead, and used plastic. Trump’s attack intensified when he directly accused the UN of financing illegal immigration not only into the U.S. but also into Europe. And if he managed to stop it, European governments continue to apply political correctness, destroying their economies. […] For 60 minutes Trump kept the room on the edge of their seats while trampling the progressives and reproaching the United Nations for being absent in the world, behaving like a true head of state, a commander of armies.”
Well, friends, this so-called commander of armies seems not to have delivered strongly enough in his anti-Russia and anti-Putin direction from the UN tribune. And immediately after the speech, Trump’s advisers prepared him a post—it is clear it was written by them—an even harsher statement against Putin’s Russia, which went like this: “ After getting to know and fully understand the Ukraine/Russia Military and Economic situation and, after seeing the Economic trouble it is causing Russia, I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form. With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original Borders from where this War started, is very much an option. Why not? Russia has been fighting aimlessly for three and a half years a War that should have taken a Real Military Power less than a week to win. This is not distinguishing Russia. In fact, it is very much making them look like “a paper tiger.” When the people living in Moscow, and all of the Great Cities, Towns, and Districts all throughout Russia, find out what is really going on with this War, the fact that it’s almost impossible for them to get Gasoline through the long lines that are being formed, and all of the other things that are taking place in their War Economy, where most of their money is being spent on fighting Ukraine, which has Great Spirit, and only getting better, Ukraine would be able to take back their Country in its original form and, who knows, maybe even go further than that! Putin and Russia are in BIG Economic trouble, and this is the time for Ukraine to act. In any event, I wish both Countries well. We will continue to supply weapons to NATO for NATO to do what they want with them. Good luck to all!”
If I hadn’t received this post from sources in the United States, I would have said it was fake news. But it is not, and that is today’s problem. From today, Trump appears to be reigniting the Ukrainian war even more forcefully, after having worked so hard to convince us he wanted peace. Now he is no longer so interested in that peace, because he knows he will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize anyway. But the Rothschild family intermediaries he met in London during his visit—and here I include King Charles III—told him he would get the Nobel Peace Prize only if he issued quick anti-Russia, pro-Ukraine, pro-war messages. And indeed, you have clear proof: you also heard Emmanuel Macron yesterday, the Rothschilds’ house poodle, speaking in the same vein, saying Trump could obtain the Nobel Peace Prize only if he does the right thing for Ukraine.
Yet the main reason Trump signals he wants to reignite the world again, I believe, is an additional one. Yesterday, at the UN tribune, a series of major leaders—from Emmanuel Macron to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, from the Emir of Qatar to UN Secretary General António Guterres and many others—collectively put Israel against the wall while recognizing Palestine as a state. These messages, aligned one after the other against Israel, established an unprecedented fact in the history of UN General Assemblies. And this is my opinion: Trump, as Netanyahu’s main ally, unable to respond directly and contradict those leaders I’ve just listed, chose instead this route, and I’ll explain how.
By attacking Russia and Putin so hard, besides pleasing the Rothschild family, he shifted global attention away from Israel’s huge current predicament, simply generating another major international debate about the so-called new war the EU would restart with Putin and Russia, but with U.S. support and approval. That, I believe, is what happened.
In fact, my forecast is that Putin will not respond proportionally to Trump precisely because he understands what I’ve just explained. Putin understands Trump’s pressing need not to upset too much the international financial capital on which the macroeconomic stability of the United States—extremely fragile—is dependent. Above all, Putin understands Trump’s obligation to help Israel at any cost. Why? Because Trump’s current U.S. presidential mandate depends on it. Therefore, after a short episode of false agitation over the next few days, I believe we will return to implementing the Putin–Xi–Trump understandings, which will also apply to the Black Sea region, including matters that concern us directly.
